Paul Brockman joined The Catastrophic Theatre as a founding board member in 2007 and was board president from 2012 to 2015. He was hired as the Managing Director in June of 2015 with responsibility for management, finances, marketing, and fundraising for the organization. Under Brockman’s leadership, Catastrophic successfully moved its operations to the Midtown Arts and Theatre Complex Houston (MATCH) in January of 2016. Earlier in his career, Paul served as Advertising Director of a major music label, a founding member of his own marketing communications company and as a art gallery director. Paul studied at The University of Texas at Austin and St. John’s School in Houston. Paul currently serves as the President of the Joan Hohlt & Roger Wich Foundation and is a member of the advisory council of The Houston Arts Alliance.
