Backyard BBQ! Maypole Fun! Yard Games! Accordions!

Come hang with us for some chillin’ n grillin’ and all sorts of backyard shenanigans as we
celebrate May Day, the return of summer, the fertility of our crops, and the vitality of our
theatre! Gather ’round the maypole, lounge about on the lawn, tap your toes to tunes from
Houston’s A.S.S. (Accordion Super Stars), feast on fabulous food and drinks, bid on fantastic
auction items, and compete at cornhole, croquet, giant Jenga, and our first ever Blue Ribbon
Potato Salad Contest!
Simply roll out of bed and party the day away with your favorite theatre company or take it
up a notch and don your favorite summertime frocks and May Day finery. Floral prints and
flower crowns highly encouraged. You might even be declared Queen or King of the May
Day!
MAYDAY MADNESS SUPPORTER LEVELS:
Maypoler: $150 (underwriter ticket)
Cornholer: $500 (admission for 4)
Grill Master: $1500 (admission for 10 + tickets to Catastrophic
productions)
BBQ Boss: $2500 (all of the above + party souvenirs & special invitation to
Catastrophic VIP events)
Aunt Bertha’s Award Winning Potato Salad: $5000 (all of the above +
special VIP cocktail hour)
May Day Queen: $10,000 (all of the above + your very own post-party
picnic with Catastrophic all-stars)
$100 general admission ticket also available.
The Catastrophic Theatre is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Contributions above
the cash value of each ticket ($50) are tax-deductible.
