14 Pews is an arts nonprofit, which is passionate about utilizing the arts as a tool to promote civic discourse and stimulate dialogues around the most pressing and complex issues we face in contemporary society. This Houston landmark is the last wooden church in the Heights. Built in 1924, 14 Pews maintains a rustic charm and stylistic décor that reflects the natural Heights setting.  Imagine exchanging your vows in an intimate setting for an elegant or rustic Houston wedding. Prefer an outdoor ceremony? The backyard provides a fun yet sophisticated locale for an outdoor celebration beneath the sparkling stars and lights.

In addition, you can also rent our space for photo & film shoots, private screenings, performances, birthday parties, business meetings, lectures, and receptions.

14 Pews has a seating capacity of 98 people, we are a BYOB establishment and we allow you to bring in your own caterer without any extra fees. Furthermore, there is FREE parking on the street.
