Cathy Power

Cathy Power is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and an actor (well, sometimes people let her act in stuff, I swear). This is her 15th Tamarie Cooper show. I know, right? Cathy was a company member with the critically acclaimed Infernal Bridegroom Productions for over ten years. Always looking to expand and experiment, Cathy often composes and performs with Two Star Symphony (Best Instrumental/Experimental, Houston Press Music Awards 2009 and 2010), with whom she has worked to score silent films and theater projects. Among the many highlights of her career are playing Laurie in Speeding Motorcycle, a rock opera based on the life and work of Daniel Johnston, being named "Best Spectacle" in 2001 by the Houston Press for her work as a performance artist, being a musical presenter at TedX Houston, and winning awards two years in a row working as a composer with Hot Pixel Action for Houston’s 48 Hour Film Project
