Charlie Scott
was a founding member of both The Urban Theater Project (1991-93) and Infernal Bridegroom Productions (1996-2006). With The Urban Theater Project: King Lear, Waiting for Godot, Joseph K, and MacBeth. With Infernal Bridegroom Productions: Samuel’s Major Problems, Guys and Dolls, Eddie Goes To Poetry City, The Cherry Orchard, Waiting for Godot, In the Jungle of Cities, Camino Real, Last Rites, Fucking A, The Danube, Marie and Bruce, Mud,Phaedra’s Love, Edmond, Chicago, Actual Air, In the Under Thunderloo, Rhinoceros, Baal, Uncle Vanya, and Hide Town. He received the Houston Press “Most Outstanding Director” award for the 2005 Infernal Bridegroom production of Medea. Medea also won the “Most Outstanding Theater Production” award that year. His first production with Catastrophic was last spring’s Waiting for Godot.
